LAURA RUTH is a singer, songwriter, music and movement teacher and program developer for California First 5 & Children’s Creative Project.  Her enthusiasm is felt in the joy she brings as she instructs & sparks the imagination.  Hearts and minds are truly enriched and learning is a natural outcome of the fun her sessions entail.

Experience
Acoustic Music and Singing  
Fun musical activities combine movement and singing with learning to play the ukulele 
(Instant Play Method) Students receive hands on experience with a variety of instruments. 
By creating their own Songbook/Poetry/Collage Journals  students have the opportunity to express 
themselves creatively, while working on language skills and the basic fundamentals of music. 
 
Multi-lingual songs are presented and class will culminate in a performance utilizing lessons learned regarding stage presence,breath/vocal technique & musicianship.

About

After earning my BFA in Fine Arts, I spent many wonderful years creating art as a Disney Imagineer. I am currently having a blast creating worlds, painting and drawing for the children's books, raising two teenagers, two crazy dogs and hanging out with my husband on the Central Coast of California.

Experience

  • I am also a member of the SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators)
  • Involved with OCAF a local Arts organization promoting and supporting arts in the schools.

About

Teresa McIntyre studied dance in Lompoc, Santa Maria at Allan Hancock College, and at Dupree Dance Academy in Los Angeles, among others. She studied contemporary dance, along with ballet and modern technique. She performed extensively in Allan Hancock dance concerts, and later choreographed as a faculty member. She continues teaching through Children's Creative project and dabbles in belly dance choreography at local venues.

Experience

About

Caity was born and raised on the central coast and has been involved in theatre since she was 12 years old. She is a recent graduate from Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA)’s professional actor’s training conservatory and will be going to Cal State Fullerton in the Fall to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing!

• Mercy Lewis in The Crucible, directed by Roger DeLaurier
• Pete, Glory, Sandrine, and Gale in Almost, Maine (Conservatory Project)
• Mrs. Daldry in In The Next Room 
• Director for two Conservatory Student Projects
• Instructor for the Young People’s Project (YPP) and YPP Jr., Summer 2017

• Lighting Designer/Prop Manager/Light Board-Op for multiple productions at Misguided Shows Theatre Company
• Actor in a total of 9 shows in high school and community (ages 14-18)
• Set Build Crew for a total of 10 shows in high school and community (ages 14-18)
